Last month we attended our first in-person large-scale conference in two years at COE 2022 in New Orleans. It was a pleasure to meet up with old friends, colleagues and customers. We presented three sessions, which were very well received, on data migration, 3DEXPERIENCE implementations, and project management. Because of the response, we’re going to present these sessions as webinars this summer: • Migrating Data to 3DEXPERIENCE: Thursday, June 16, 2022, at 11 a.m. ET • Customer Success: Best Practices and Lessons Learned for Implementing 3DEXPERIENCE: Thursday, July 14, 2022, at 12 p.m. ET • Project Management in 3DEXPERIENCE: Thursday, August 18, 2022, at 11 a.m. ET Also on our schedule is our 3DEXPERIENCE Roundtable taking place tomorrow, May 19, 2022, at 11 a.m. ET. We’ll discuss a variety of topics, based on the needs mentioned by our participants, including but not limited to: • Data migration • 3DEXPERIENCE implementation • Collaboration best practices • Widgets and customizations • Infrastructure and performance tuning Please contact us if you have suggestions for the roundtable or future webinars, blog posts and newsletter articles. |

Data Migration from AutoDesk Vault to SOLIDWORKS PDM We recently worked with two customers moving to SOLIDWORKS PDM from Autodesk Vault: the first is a manufacturer/supplier in the oil and gas industry, and the second is a manufacturer in the printing and packaging industry that needed to put its newest acquisition on the same enterprise technology platform as the rest of the company. Read the full success story. Both customers had used Autodesk Vault to manage Inventor and AutoCAD files and selected SOLIDWORKS PDM for their new data management system to fit their specific needs. Customer Success: xLM Completes 3DEXPERIENCE Implementation xLM Solutions’ Ilan Madjar describes a successful 3DEXPERIENCE cloud implementation for a telecommunications equipment manufacturer. The team developed and implemented a solution for managing engineering data and processes for a predominantly SOLIDWORKS CAD user-based environment. The experts from xLM delivered significant value to the manufacturer in managing its engineering data and demonstrated the power that 3DEXPERIENCE can provide for managing SOLIDWORKS data.
