A browser change coming later this year will require action from every organization running Aras Innovator.

Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge are deprecating support for XSLT, the technology Aras Innovator uses to render a variety of browser-based interface components, including grids, reports, and other elements of the user experience. Google is currently targeting November 2026 (around Chrome version 155) for the removal of XSLT support.

If your organization relies on Aras Innovator, this is not something to put off until the browser update arrives.

What Is Changing?

XSLT has been part of web browsers for many years, but browser vendors are now removing native support as they modernize their platforms.

Once that change takes effect, Aras Innovator environments that have not been updated could experience issues displaying interface components that depend on XSLT. Users may encounter broken grids, reports, or other functionality that impacts day-to-day work.

The Good News: A Solution Is Available

Aras has already released hotfixes for all supported versions of Aras Innovator, covering Releases 22 through 38.

Applying the appropriate hotfix before browser support is removed will help ensure your users continue working without disruption when Chrome and Edge complete their XSLT deprecation.

What If You’re Running an Older Version?

Organizations running Release 21 or earlier should pay particular attention.

Because these versions are no longer supported, the XSLT hotfix is not generally available through standard support channels. Customers on these releases should begin planning their upgrade strategy now to avoid compatibility issues later this year.
