Enables Seamless Process Flow of Product Data from SOLIDWORKS PDM Professional into Arena PLM for Prototype, NPI and Ongoing Product Development

With this integration, companies gain a seamless process flow of product data from SOLIDWORKS PDM Professional, formerly known as Enterprise PDM (SolidWorks PDM), into Arena PLM for prototype, new product introduction (NPI) and ongoing product development processes.

Thanks to Arena and xLM Solutions, companies can create and publish parts, files and bills of materials (BOMs) to Arena PLM from within the SOLIDWORKS PDM Professional user interface (UI), which eliminates the need to switch applications and enables engineers to continue working within SOLIDWORKS, simplifying the design process and improving productivity. In addition, because the data flow is automated, this integration avoids the mistakes that are typically introduced through manually exporting and importing information, and also eliminates the drudgery of data entry.
