Curtain eLocker
Curtain e-locker is an Information Rights Management system that prevents your confidential files from leaking out of the company. It allows users to access confidential files by using corresponding software, such as AutoCAD, Microsoft Word, SOLIDWORKS and Adobe Reader, but not to print, save as, or send files to external sources if they are not authorized to do so.

Curtain modules cover the most popular CAD/CAM software, such as AutoCAD, SOLIDWORKS, Siemens NX/Unigraphics, Pro/ENGINEER, etc. Corresponding modules are required to protect corresponding file types. To check the full list of Curtain Modules, please contact xLM Solutions.
Curtain Technology creates a special directory called “Protected Directory” in the client machine. When users access design files stored in the server, files will be automatically downloaded to the client’s Protected Directory. Users can do anything inside the Protected Directory (such as New Copy, Rename, Delete, Edit), but they cannot copy files from the Protected Directory to external sources. If users make modifications on downloaded files and they want to update copies on the server, files can be uploaded to a pre-defined server location.
